Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Long Haul by Jeff Kinney is a humorous realistic fiction book. This book is a fiction book about a kid named Greg who finds out his summer vacation is ruined when his mom says “ We are going on a road trip!” The main character, Greg is a lazy boy who wants to play video games and drink soda and chips all day. The main problem is when Greg finds out his summer vacation is not a vacation he wanted, a road trip. I enjoyed this story because it had a ton of humourous parts and on every page something new happened. -Shayan

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Long Haul
is about a kid named Greg Heffley who is a bored, plain kid that wants to go on a road trip. In this book Greg and his family are going on a road trip and end up going to a waterpark and staying in a motel. The main problem is that the parents had to convince the kids to actually like the road trip. I would recommend this book to the fifth grade because this book kept my interest throughout the book and the plot was moving fast and was not too slow. -Brooks
