![]() The Homework Machine by Dan Gutman was an amazing realistic fiction story. The Homework Machine was a book about a group of different kids that make a mind blowing machine. The main character is Brenton, a geeky outsider who is a computer genius. The kids want to use the machine but they are nervous that somebody might catch them. I like the setting because it was at a 10 year old’s house so I kind of related to him. Also, this story had me always thinking about what was going to happen next. In addition, it was a different story compared most stories it had kids throwing thing off the Grand Canyon which I think is awesome, and this story made me feel like a dummy because they were going to Landmarks, making magical inventions, and escaping cops. I loved story because I like inventing things, and I like action. The Homework Machine provided all my interests. -Jared
