![]() Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is a fiction book by J. K. Rowling, and it is about Harry getting in trouble with his scare, which leads him too the mysteries of the Chamber of Secrets. Harry is a boy with an enemy that is the worst but the best wizard in the wizarding world named Voldemort, and he would do anything to kill him. In this case, using a monster to kill muggles. The plot is the same in all the books. A dream castle with a few dangers on the journey. But a new setting was changed a little. The Chamber of Secrets. I think the setting was a little scarier than it had to be. Also, It didn’t make me want to keep going. It was boring all the way through until the end. -Regan The book/movie Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling is a fiction book about a boy who has to find out the trouble going on in Hogwarts (a wizarding school) and try to stop it. The main character, Harry Potter, is a twelve year old boy who suffered the loss of both of his parents and learned about a whole new magical world the past year. The main problem in this story is that there are secret messages and people becoming petrified around Hogwarts. The unexpected plot in this story is that Tom Marvolo Riddle is actually Voldemort and he tries to kill Ginny Weasley (Ron, Harry’s best friends sister) to become more powerful. This story made me feel sad because Professor Lockhart, the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, casts a memory charm on himself and forgets who he is. I love the Harry Potter series and I hope you will too! -Jennifer I read the fictional book Harry Potter And the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling and it is about a boy “Harry” who is just really learning who he is. The main character Harry is still living with his rude aunt and uncle because his parents were killed by an evil wizard Lord Voldemort. Harry is still finding his true self and discovering the power that he has. The main problem in this story is that voldemort is still trying to kill Harry. My opinion of this book is that it was good but out of all the Harry Potter books, this one was my least favorite. I think this because it had a lot of action but it was a bit creepy and I felt as though J.K. Rowling should have made it a bit less creepy. But I loved the plot twist at the end. J.K. Rowling wanted you to think one way and suddenly changed your mind. I would recommend this book to a friend but I would suggest that he or she read the first book first. -Haile R.
