![]() Big Nate: In a Class by Himself by Lincoln Peirce is a Realistic Fiction book. It is about a boy named Nate, who gets a fortune that says “Today you will surpass all others.” And that’s where things start getting bad. Nate is a not smart person in 6th grade who has spiky hair, and two best friends, Francis and Teddy. The problem is that Nate gets a fortune that says “Today you will surpass all others.” He tries too hard to make that fortune come true, and next thing you know he is getting in trouble. In my opinion, the book was awesome. It was very unexpected when Nate ate all of those green beans! I just wanted to see what else he would do, so I kept reading. -Brandon K
