Wings of Fire: The Dragonet Prophecy is a fiction book by Tui T. Sutherland about five dragonets who are part of a prophecy to later on help in the war that is going on in the outside world. The five dragonets are named Sunny the sandwing, Clay the mudwing, Starflight the nightwing, Glory the rainwing, and Tsunami the seawing. They are all in the prophecy and they were born from their eggs under a mountain and they have never seen the outside world. When Clay and Tsunami get out they run into the queen of skywings, Queen Scarlet, and she brings them big trouble. She brings them to her sky kingdom and holds them captive. Then Clay meets a skywing dragonet named Peril. Peril was born with too much fire so if she touches another dragon they will die of her burn. The dragonets face terrible times in the skywing kingdom they have to fight to get free and they have to fight Peril the queen’s champion fighter. Will they get free alive? I liked this book because it was very action packed with all of the fighting and very descriptive at when they describe what dragons look like or how you can picture what is going on in your head by the words they use. -Annika
