![]() The book Twerp is a fiction story by Mark Goldblatt. This book is about a boy who has made lots of mistakes in his life, but none as big as the one his teacher wants him to tell him about, or rather write about. Julian Twerski agrees to write a journal about his life to get out of a Shakespeare project assigned by his teacher. He writes about throwing rocks at pigeons, his odd love life, and losing his best friend. Although all of these things are interesting to read about, there is one thing that his teacher still wants to see in Julian’s writing. This book was very interesting to read because it was in the format of a journal, so the story was told from Julian Twerski’s point of view the whole time. -Sam
