![]() The historical fiction book Little House On The Prairie by Laura Ingalls Wilder is about a colonial family moving to Indian territory. The family includes Mary and Laura who are adventurous, young girls who love to explore around their new house. Ma likes to make clothes and butter. Pa is an amazing cowman and hunter. The main problem is that the Indians do not like the colonists moving to their territory. So the Indians want to start a war between them and the colonists. I like this book because it was different to see the reactions of little girls in that time period. The plot was very interesting because I loved to see the problems that colonial people faced. I loved the big twist in the end. I would recommend this to anyone who would love to read an interesting book in the colonial times. - Casey

I think that is a great summary on the book Little House on a Prairie. I like how you told the main character.
