![]() The book Fortunately, the Milk is a fantasy book written by Neil Gaiman. This book is about a family and the mother had to go on a trip for a couple of days. This meant that the dad was in charge. But he forgets the one thing that he and his two kids cannot live without. They need it for their cereal and tea. That special item was a milk carton from the corner store. So the next morning, before breakfast, he has to go to the corner shop, and this is the story of why it takes him a very, very long time to get back. He meets a time traveling dinosaur (Professor Steg,) some green globby things, the Queen of the Pirates, the famed jewel that is the Eye of Splod, some wumpires, all because of a carton of milk. The question is, will he get back? I liked this book’s humor and it definitely was a fantasy. It might have been a little bit too fiction for me.
