The book Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: Hard Luck is a kid’s novel by Jeff Kinney in the series called Diary Of A Wimpy Kid. The main character is a middle schooler who fails his subjects and gets into trouble. In this book, Greg finds a magic ball which tells him what to do. So example if he asks: “Do I eat the broccoli?” the magic ball will answer: Yes or No. He then makes a decision that he would bring the magic ball to school. He then uses it in all the subjects and it drops and leaks. But that is not the problem yet. The school principal Mr. Roy finds out and Greg gets into serious trouble of using a “cheating device.” The biggest problem facing Greg yet is that his best friend, Rowley, who helped him to carry his books, who hanged out and played video games with Greg ditched him for a girl named Abigail. Can he survive the big trouble he is in and get Rowley to be friends with him again? This book is hilarious, super funny and has lots of crazy stuff happening in it, and that is why I like this book so much. It also makes me want to keep reading and reading and not drop the book. -Ernest
