![]() Crenshaw is the title and this book is by G.A Applegate. This story is about a smart boy whose old imaginary friend comes back and is trying to help him get through their hard times of being homeless. Jackson is a ten or eleven year-old who is just about to go into 6th grade. He is very smart because he reads a lot of non fiction books. Crenshaw is Jackson's imaginary friend who knows when Jackson needs help. The problem is that Jackson's family went broke, so now they live in a car, and they are trying to get money for food and to get a house. This story made me want to keep reading because I thought they would get their house back, and I wanted to see how they would. This story made me feel how a homeless family felt. -Willow
