Here are some people that helped us during our war.One helpful person in our war is named Baron von Steuben. He trained the Continental Army in Valley Forge and trained them harder and better. Another person is Francis Marion Swampfox. He led the militia through the swamps and hid after the battle of Camden. He took the militia and hid them in the forests and swamps and came up firing opon the British. The last person is named General Nathaniel Green. He had the idea to put the army behind the hill at Cowpens. The militia at the front and the actual army in the back and it worked. Those are some people that helped us win our war.
The three people I have chosen to discuss are George Eashington, Ben Franklin and Paul Revere.
Benjamin Franklin helped the colonies get an alliance with France. The French were very helpful because they sent troops, supplies and money which help lead the colonies to victory.
Paul Revere helped warn people that the British were coming to Lexington and Concord in Massachusetts. He served as a soldier in the war.
George Washington was the leader of the Continental army. As a general he was not headstrong and open to the ideas of others. He knew when it was better to retreat. He actually lost more battles than he won but Washington was good at recruiting troops. He was made the first president.
Besides George Washington, the first person would be Paul Revere. Paul Revere helped in the revolutionary war by warning the colonists that the British were going to take away their weapons. Instead the colonists fought the British and the colonists won that small battle. The second person that helped win the war was Benjamin Franklin. BJ went to the French king and talked him into helping the Americans win the war. The third person that helped win the Revolutionary war was General Green and his Southern army which eventually teamed up with George Washington and his army.
Three people that helped America win the Revolutionary War are Ethan Allen, Francis Marion or the Swampfox, and Gen. Greene. Ethan Allen and his Green Mountain Boys lived in the forest and decided to raid Fort Ticonderoga. He headed up to the fort and raided it. The fort was surrendered and no shots were fired. Francis Marion helped by delaying General Cornwallis with all his surprise attacks that annoyed Cornwallis to the point where he decided to start chasing Francis. They also held Cornwallis off until Gen. Greene came because of this. Gen. Greene helped by defeating the Redcoats in Cowpens where he was helped by Francis Marion, and decided together to put Francis's militia in the front and the trained army in the back, and this helped us win the battle in Cowpens. He also helped in the siege of Yorktown, because he was chasing Cornwallis up to Yorktown when they met and battled. In this battle Cornwallis lost a quarter of his men and started running again. Gen. Greene also helped defeat the Redcoats in Yorktown.
Some people that helped us win the war were George Washington, Baron Von Stueben, and Frances Marion A.K.A Swampfox. George Washington was the General of the Colonial Army. He helped them win all but one or two of the battles in the revolution. Baron Von Stueben help train the Continental army against the British and also paid for thousands of uniforms for the Colonial army. And lastly Swampfox who did small raids on the British and helped the Colonist beat the British at one of the biggest battles, Cowpens.
There were many people that helped the American in the Revolutionary War ,but here a couple. Frances Marion helped because he and his militia killed many British troops when they went out for supplies. Baron Von Steuben also helped because when the colonists were suffering in Valley Forge he came and helped by showing the colonists some new fighting tips. Lastly, Paul Revere helped in the beginning of the war by warning everyone in Lexington that the British were coming so the colonists were prepared to fight them. Those are some people that helped in the Revolutionary War.
I think that Baron Von Stuben was important because he helped get our army ready and confident to fight the british. He helped our army and officers, and I think that without him, we might not have won. Another man is Nathaniel Greene. He tricked Cornwallis, chased him up the coast to Yorktown, and he was a very good general that helped with sneak attacks at the end of the war. He was a smart man, and he was a very great ruler. Another great man was the Swampfox, (Francis Marion). He was a great leader that knew the woods, and he helped stall Cornwallis, and he had men. All these men are great heroes, and we couldn't have won without their help.
Three people that helped and carried us to winning the war were Francis Marion, Marquis de La Lafayette, and Gen. Cornwallis. Now, I am almost positive you are confused about Cornwallis being a help to the war but, I think that he was a great help because without his massive amount of arrogance we could never win. Moreover, because he always thought that scrappy underdogs could never ever win a war against the great and powerful British army. I think that Francis Marion or the swamp fox was a tremendous help to the Americans because he forced the British many loses and he lead us to freedom with his smart ideas. Lafayette was a great help too because in Valley Forge he trained our militia and he told them why they should not do that. He knew from experience that if you tel someone not to do something they would want to know why. He also taught the Americans how to load and fire guns faster and more accurately. Those are simply some of the many people that lead us to having our own freedom.
There were many people involved in the revolutionary war. This includes Thomas Jefferson who basically wrote the declaration of independence. Anther person who helped us win was Thomas Paine he wrote a book called common sense that convinced people to be a patriot instead of a loyalist or an undecided. Lastly, Baron Von Steuben and Lafayette trained the Americans to be stronger and tougher than ever before. In Conclusion Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Paine, Baron Von Steuben, and Lafayette all were a big part of the revolutionary war.
The people that helped us in the war were a lot and here are three. The first person is Von Steuben he helped us be more discipline and taught us how to load our guns faster. The second person is Marion (The Swamp Fox) he helped us get revenge on Cornwallis and trick him that we were running away. The last person is Lafayette he also helped train and discipline us and actually became good friends of General Washington. Those are people that help us when the Revolutionary War.
A great deal of people helped win the Revolutionary War. A few individuals were exceptionally helpful and their contributions were very influential to the Continental Army’s success. The first person to highlight is Marquis de Lafayette, he served as major-general in the Continental Army providing important tactical leadership. He also secured vital resources from France that aided in the ultimate success of the Americans in winning the war. Lafayette was a passionate and intelligent leader who notably helped keep British Lieutenant Cornwallis’s army pinned at Yorktown, while divisions of soldiers surrounded the British and forced a surrender. The second person that was important in helping to win the Revolutionary War was Baron von Steuben. He helped the American soldiers by improving discipline and cleanliness in the military camps and by instituting tactics that finally helped them compete against the highly trained redcoats. He is notably remembered for implementing a program of drills that maximized response time and improved fire and reload rates. Due in large part to von Steuben and his technical knowledge the troops emerged from Valley Forge a better, stronger, and more forceful army. The third person to identify as a major contributor in the winning of the Revolutionary War was Francis Marion, The Swamp Fox. The Swamp Fox’s major contribution was elusive, crafty, and cunning warfare that outwitted British troops. He used the landscape to his advantage in surprising enemy regiments. Due to his sneaky and stealthy attacks, he forced the British to divide and weaken their forces. By wearing down the enemy and inspiring patriotism, The Swamp Fox and his followers helped win American independence. Lafayette, von Steuben, and The Swamp Fox are three examples are the many key contributions it took to win the war and gain freedom for the American people.
Here are three other people besides George Washingon who helped us win the war. One of the people that I chose is Baron Von Steben he came in during Valley Forge and helped plenty by training the militia. Another handy pereson would be Henry Knox, he was in charge of the of the cannons. He also helped to get weapons when we desperatley needed it. The last but not least would be Thomas Paine he helped boost us up by wrting the article, "Common Sense." Those were the helful people that I chose to help win the war.
George Washington helped us win the revolutionary war. he was the main general that fought most of the battles in the northern colonies. Henry Knox helped us in the revolutionary war. he helped us by bringing back supplies from fort Ticonderoga. Paul Revere helped us by warning us from the British.
One person who helped us win the war was Marion Swamp Fox. He helped because he knew his way around the swamps while clearly the British didn't know the swamps as well. He came with his sharpshooters and picked off the British one by one, making a small dent into the mighty British army. The next person who helped us in this war was John Glover. He was the leader of a group called The Marble Headers who helped Washington when he was captured by the British. The Marble Headers helped Washington escape by sailing Washington and his troops to safe shores. The last person I'm gonna be talking about is the French General Lafayette, who came to America to train and help the soldiers. He also drastically decreased the hand movements to reload a musket.
Thousands of people fought in the war, but some go unrecognized. Three of these somewhat unrecognized revolutionary heroes are; Henry Knox, Baron Von Steuben, and John Glover. Out of all of these people, the most recognized is Henry Knox. Henry Knox brought tons of artillery pieces from Fort Ticonderoga, all the way back to Boston, to Dorchester Heights. If it wasn’t for him, the British might have been in control of Boston for the whole war. Probably the second best-known out of the three is Baron Von Steuben. There are so many articles and books on how Laffayette helped in the war, but so did Baron Von Steuben. He made a really great rifle for the Americans, and helped them come out as a better army after Valley Forge. Lastly, a very overlooked American, John Glover. He helped George Washington flee to Manhattan with the help of the Marbleheaders. He escaped Long Island, NY from the British because of him. Those were just three of the heroes of the revolution.
I know lots of people that helped America win the Revolutionary war. Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, Roger Sherman, and Robert R. Livingston all wrote the Declaration of Independence in Philadelphia on July 4, 1776. Von Steuben also helped us win in the war. He trained our men how to be better soldiers. One more person that helped us win in the war was Thomas Paine. Paine wrote Common sense.
1.Ethan Allen led the Green mountain boys and had a role in several American victories in the war, including Fort Ticonderoga.
2.Benedict Arnold helped win at both Ticonderoga and Saratoga.
3.Baron Von Steuben helped train the American soldiers and turn the army into a more skilled fighting force.
Three other people besides George Washington that I think lead America to be a country was Frances Marion, the Swamp fox, John Glover and the Marbleheaders, and lastly, Ethan Allen and the Green Mountain Boys. Here is why I think their contributions helped us win the war: 1. Frances Marion, the Swamp Fox helped us defeat the British in many occasions during the war. Using his smart tactics, he tricked Cornwallis into running in swamps, and then picking of his soldiers one by one, and skirmish after skirmish in those swamps. 2. John Glover and the Marbleheaders saved us at Long Island, which was going to be the end of the war, and our defeat, if they hadn't come. They picked us up by there ships, and took us to safety. 3. Lastly, Ethen Allen and the Green Mountain Boys helped us at Fort Ticonderoga, where we picked up very needed munition for the army, and to win the war. Without those supplies, we wouldn't have won the war.
Ben Franklin, Baron von Steuben and William Prescott are the three people I choose to explain how they help us win the Revolutionary War. Ben Franklin was part of the 5 member committee that helped draft the Declaration of Independence and also was sent by Congress to enlist France's help in the War. With out his ability to win France's support we would not have had the troops to defeat the English. Baron von Steuben's training in the Prussian Army helped shape George Washington's troops at Valley Forge for combat and William Prescott was an American Colonel who commanded the patriot forces in the Battle of Bunker Hill. William Prescott was also one the 1st people to warn that the British were coming. Without these men's commitment and leadership we might not have won the War.
The three people besides George Washington that I have chosen are: Benjamin Franklin, the Marquis de Lafayette, and Von Stueven. I picked Benjamin Franklin for the first one because he was a good communicator, both in writing and talking. He helped write the Declaration of Independence and he wrote newspapers for people to be able to read what was happening during the war. He also went to France to ask them to join us in the war against England. The second one, Marquis de Lafayette, helped as a soldier and a general. He himself was not an American but he believed in freedom. He went on his way to America, even though he wasn't suppose to go, and helped us when we were in need. Last, I chose Baron Von Stueven. He was from Prussia, and helped train the continental soldiers in Valley Forge into well-trained army. This was one reason why the continental soldiers came out better in morale and discipline than when they first went in Valley Forge. I think this helped them win the war.
There were plenty of individuals in the Revolutionary War who helped America win the war. The three people that stood out to me the most were Baron Von Steuben, John Glover and the Marbleheaders, and Benedict Arnold. Von Steuben helped get the Patriots better at fighting and introduced them to a new fighting style that could decrease the amount of time it takes to load and fire a musket. Von Steuben helped our guys when they needed it most because he trained our men during Valley Forge. Valley Forge was probably the worst event/battle in the war for the Patriot army. John Glover helped the Patriot army during a battle when the Patriot army was trapped and had no way to escape because they had no boats. John Glover and the Marbleheaders let the Patriot army escape across the Delaware River to safety. If the Patriot army did not escape in time, the war could have ended right at that battle and America might not be the America it is today. Benedict Arnold also helped at a lot in battles like Saratoga and Ticonderoga. These three people helped a lot in the Revolutionary War and played a crucial part in the American win.
Three men that helped us win The Revolutionary War were Henry Knox, Von Steuben, and Swap Fox. Henry Knox helped us by bringing cannons from Fort Ticonderoga to George Washington. Von Steuben helped us by preparing the men at Valley Forge for battle. Swamp Fox helped us by distracting the British by killing 20 soldiers at a time. These men were key to winning the war with their great qualities.
Three people involved in the revolutionary war that helped us win were George Washington for leading our army. Another person was all the patriots/colonists because they joined the army and faught. The last person was King George||| because they were fighting 3 wars at once and had to give up because war is really $$expensive$$
Three people who I think helped us win the revolutionary war, are the Marble-headers, Swamp-fox, and Von Steuben. The Marble-headers helped us escape at the battle of NY on there boats. Swamp-fox helped to make the British so angry that after we retreat purposely they run after so we can shoot them with canons. Last but not least Von Steuben helped us win the war by training us and reducing the number of hand motions in the loading and firing process. These are some people who helped us win the war.
Three people who helped us win the Revolutionary War were George Washington, Ben Franklin, and Von Steuben. George Washington helped during the Revolutionary War by commanding the Continental Army, and becoming the first President of the United States. Ben Franklin also helped during the Revolutionary War by serving in the Second Continental Congress and helped draft the Declaration of Independence. Finally, Von Steuben helped during the Revolutionary War by arriving at George Washington's camp at Valley Forge and trained the soldiers with new drills that were faster and made it easier to reload muskets.
I think the tree people who gave us confidence, improved our training, and supported us would have to be. Barron Von Steuben, Swamp fox, and George Washington. Von Steuben helped us by introducing new training tactics and supporting us by donating the necessities. The Swamp Fox helped by, leading him and his crew though the swamps to wear the Red coats down. Last, but not least George Washington helped by leading us ( Continental Army) through the war.
There are many people credited with helping to win the Revolutionary War. Among one of these men was Ethan Allen. He was Credited with leading the Green Mountain Boys with the victory at Ft. Ticonderoga. This was significant because this was one of the United States first success during the Revolutionary War. Second was Paul Revere. He was known by most as the man who alerted the colonies that the British were coming. He was also responsible for organizing an alarm system to make it easier to keep tabs on the British. Third was Benjamin Franklin. Although he did not participate militarily, he was gaining support from France to negotiate Treaty of Paris which ended the Revolutionary War.
