Other than George Washington, Marquis de Lafayette led us to victory in many battles and brought over Soldiers from France. Benjamin Franklin, John and Sam Adams, and Thomas Jefferson helped by writing the Declaration of Independence and convincing France to help us. Thomas Paine wrote many pamphlets to convince more colonists to be Patriots and to keep people motivated to fight. Mercy Otis Warren helped in even a little way by writing pamphlets and housing patriots who needed to hide.

Many people were involved in the Revolution, besides George Washington. Firstly, Benjamin Franklin was involved in the Revolution. He was involved because he convinced France to join our side, which really helped at Yorktown. Secondly, Thomas Paine helped us as he wrote Common Sense which boosted our morale. Finally, Nathaniel Greene was involved because he helped us win the war after Camden. All of these people helped us win the Revolutionary war.

1. Samuel Adams. Samuel Adams started the whole thing. From beginning the Boston Tea Party, to signing the Declaration of Independence. We would not be free if he didn’t have the thirst of freedom.
2. Baron Van Steuben. Baron Von Steuben was from France. Baron helped the Patriots train and become better soldiers. The Patriots could not win after Valley Forge if it weren’t for Baron.
3. Thomas Jefferson. He may have not fought for our nation, but he sure did write for it. Thomas wrote the Declaration of Independence. We would be under British control if it weren’t for Thomas and his words of truth.

One final important person was Thomas Jefferson without him we would not have the Declaration of Independence and without that we would not have a document proving our reasons of declaring independence.

Marquis de Lafayette, Baron von Steuben, and Casimir Pulaski were three people who helped America win the Revolutionary War. Baron von Steuben helped train troops in Valley Forge and helped the war cause by being an instructor. Marquis de Lafayette came from France to help the Continentals train and helped fight in many battles, including Yorktown. Three people involved in the Revolution besides George Washington were Thomas Paine, John Glover, and comte de Rochambeau. Thomas Paine’s contribution was writing inspirational poems for the soldiers. His contributions helped us win the war because he boosted the soldiers spirit which helped them be more confident and win. John Glover’s contribution was helping us escape to New York, cross the Delaware and more. These contributions helped us win the war because if we didn’t escape to New York General Howe would have captured George Washington and 11,000 American troops. John Glover’s contributions also included crossing the Delaware to Trenton where we won and escaped before the British got revenge. Comte de Rochambeau’s contributions were helping us at Yorktown. His contributions helped us win the war because he took out the British navy fleet at Yorktown and brought America 5,500 French troops. These are three people whose contributions helped us win the war.

The Revolutionary War has a lot of important people that played a good part in the war. In this paragraph I will tell you three important people in the war. 1 Valimar Pulaski. Valimar Pulaski played a big part because he was a lead horse man. Valimar led the American army on raids and patrols. 2. Friedrich Wilhelm von Steuben. Steuben played a big part in the war by training the American army so they could have better accuracy/techniques to fight the British. 3 France. France played a big part because without French help the British could have got away. France helped by blocking all the docks so that would not happen. Well there are a lot of people that helped win our freedom in the war.

Besides George Washington name three people that were involved in the Revolution and explain how their contribution helped us win the war. The three people were General Nathanael Green, “Swamp Fox” Francis Marion, and Brigadier General Daniel Morgan .

General Nathanael Green used his military strategy that ended the war in the south against Lord Cornwallis. He lured the British troops away from the bases on the water by using a small amount of soldiers. Francis Marion took only 50 men and hid in the trees and attacked them from behind and rescued 150 American prisoners. Brigadier General Daniel Morgan won the battle of Cowpens by making a stand and had his soldiers turn their backs to load their muskets and were able to shoot when they were close. He was strategic. That is why the contribution of General Nathanael Green, “Swamp Fox” Francis Marion, and Brigadier General Daniel Morgan helped win the war.

He helped the Americans in many ways. He helped steal Fort Ticonderoga from the British, which, in return, he got no credit for. In the end, he betrayed the Americans, and leaked all of their secrets to the British. Another, person who helped, was Abigail Adams. She was a loyal wife and close advisor to John Adams. She is known to be the strongest female voice during the American Revolution. She was a key political advisor to her husband, and fought for women rights and slavery. Finally, Patrick Henry was the another person who helped us during the American Revolution. He was a founding father, and increased the Americans confidents with the famous words “ Give me liberty, or give me death!” These were three people involved in the American Revolution. They helped the colonists win the American Revolution and earn it’s freedom.

Without Casimir Pulaski, Comte de Rochambeau, and Marquis de Lafayette, America wouldn’t have won the Revolution. They were all major generals and played a big role. Without France, we wouldn’t have gotten the supplies we needed or the navy that helped us win the war at Yorktown. They both had troops that they commanded to help win Yorktown, as well. If Casimir Pulaski and Poland weren’t there, George Washington would have died at the Battle of Brandywine. These people were very important for various reasons.

After the Americans won a battle due to Benjamin Franklins convincing skills the French had joined the war and helped defeat the British Army. Another person that helped was Thomas Jefferson. 1. Friedrich Wihelm von Steuben: He retaught the Army to load a musket, different fighting patterns, and just how to fight during the winter of Valley Forge. This reteaching made the Army come out of Valley Forge WAY better than they came in.
2.Ethan Allen & Benedict Arnold: They made the turning point of the war happen, both were on there way to Fort Ticonderoga. Then, they met and agreed to work together take over the fort. When they took it over it was STOCKPILED with muskets and cannons! This is how they got most of their soldiers got weapons!
3. Francis Marion (Swamp Fox): He was known for doing small sneak attacks on the British which General Cornwallis. The battle of Cowpens was a major win for the Americans because they used Swamp Fox as BAIT for Cornwallis. Cornwallis was so mad that he would do anything to get him killed. So when Swamp Fox retreated as part of the plan, the soldiers at the BOTTOM of the hill attacked the British. The end result was 1,000 casualties, 229 wounded, as you can see this was a major loss for the British.

George Washington helped contribute to the war when he was helped the Continental army retreat from many places and also he helped with his strategy to win. Another person that popped into my head was John Glover (leader of the Marbleheaders). He helped when he came to rescue the Continental army from being trapped in Brooklyn by the British. The last person that popped into my head was Ethan Allen ( leader of Green mountain boys). Ethan Allen contributed to the winning of the Revolutionary war when General Burgoyne sends 1,000 of his men to go look for food and then Ethan Allen and the Green Mountain Boys completely capture all of them and they do it again and again. A lot of people helped the revolutionary war but those were the three people I thought of.
