If John Smith never became friends with Pocahontas then there would never be peace with the two groups, and they would fight and injure each other.
I think if John Smith and pocahontas were never friend Jamestown would have not worked out because the natives and the europeans would be in war.
If John Smith and Pocahontas weren't friends then John Smith would've been killed and The Jamestown colony wouldn't be successful.Lastly lots of English men would be killed.
If Pocahontas and John Smith never became friends then Jamestown would have probably failed because then there would have been a war between the powhatan and the colonists. The powhatan had many more people than the colonists so the powhatan would probably win so Jamestown would have failed.
If John Smith and Pocahontas had never became friends Jamestown would likely have failed. Pocahontas saved his life multiple times, and gave Jamestown food. Without this friendship Jamestown would have failed.
If John smith and Pocahontas did not get married then John Smith would of died, and there would be a war
Today I will be telling you what would happen if John Smith and Pocahontas hadn’t become friends, and what would happen to Jamestown if they didn’t. If John Smith and Pocahontas hadn’t become friends, then there probably would have been a fight between her tribe and Smith’s people, that would have destroyed Jamestown.
Pocahontas was a very great woman. If Pocahontas and John Smith never were friends than John Smith would have died. He would have gotten in war with the Powatan people. Also Jamestown would have failed. Pocahontas saved John Smith.
That would affect Jamestown because John Smith would have died. His men would ge lazy, and quit. Jamestown would be lost. No one will guide them, or help them.
It would have affected them in many ways. One is that there wouldn’t be peace and Powhatan would have attacked Jamestown immediately and that wouldn’t make Jamestown successful and therefore history would be different.

Many things could’ve happened if John Smith and Pocahontas weren’t friends. One thing is that, John Smith would’ve died the first time that the natives captured him. Another is that Jamestown would not have survived because Smith died, the workers would’ve gone back to their old I’m- sore-I’m- taking- the- day- off selves. Finally, another of the many things that could’ve happened is that Jamestown would not have started the tobacco crops and England might not have climbed to the top. This is a few things that might have happened if John Smith and Pocahontas never met.
If Pocohantas did not save John Smith, he would be dead. Jamestown wouldn’t be built because the workers only worked when John Smith told them to. The English men would attack and kill all of the Indians, if Pocohantas had not saved him from being killed.
I think if John Smith and pocahontas had never met then Jamestown wouldn't be a successful colony.
If John Smith and Pocahontas had never become friends then Jamestown would have failed. John Smith was the leader of the Colonists and Pocahontas was one of the daughters of Chief Powhatan. When they became friends they made peace in between the Natives and the Newcomers. If they did not meet they could have had war between both the tribes and colonists.
If John Smith never became friends with Pocahontas then James town would failed. James town would not be here because there would be a war, but, Pocahontas made peace between the two. Pocahontas is great for that reason.
If John Smith and Pocahontas had not become friends, this would have affected the success of Jamestown. One affect would be that Powhatan would of killed John Smith and John Smith’s policy of no work no eat would go away. Another affect would be if Pocahontas didn’t become friends with John Smith, she would not of met John Rofe and married him. John Rofe would not have learned about how to grow tobacco from the Natives. He would not have been able to teach Jamestown about tobacco/crash crop. So Jamestown was lucky enough to have John Smith and Pocahontas become friends.
There would be some affects on Jamestown if John Smith and Pocahontas never became friends. One, would be that the Powhatan tribe and the Jamestown settlement would have really big fights. Another, would be that they probably never would have found tobacco then, they would not have been very wealthy. Lastly, John Smith probably would have gotten killed because when they captured him Pocahontas helped him stay alive. Those would be some affects on Jamestown if Pocahontas and John Smith never became friends.
If John Smith and Pocahontas had never become friends, then Jamestown might have had a different story. First, Jamestown was successful because of John Smith, and Pocahontas saved his life. Second, without the peace treaty with the Indians, the settlers might have been killed in an indian attack. Also, thanks to Pocahontas, the Indians traded crops, fish, and tobacco for weapons and metal tools. This trade was necessary for the survival of Jamestown colonists. This is why if Pocahontas and John Smith had never become friends, Jamestown would've failed.
If Pocahontas had never met john smith and never became friends with him it would effect Jamestown. Because if they didn't meet the Powhatan mite have attacked them and kill all the settlers. And then john Rolfe mite have never come to the new world then he would never have had a tobacco farm and wouldn't become rich.
What if John Smith and Pocahontas had never become friends? Jamestown probably would have been taken out by the Powhatan tribe. Pocahontas would have married someone she was told to marry! There’s a chance we wouldn’t be speaking English right now! We would be taught different history! England probably wouldn’t end up on the top after that! That would be two failed colonies! Plymouth might not even exist! There are many possibilities that could have happened! These are just few out of MANY!!!
If John Smith and Pocahontas had never become friends it would have had a lot of effects on Jamestown. One effect is when John Smith was captured by the Native Tribe he would have died, because Pocahontas persuaded the Chief to free him. Another effect is the Jamestown colony would have been attacked many times, because Pocahontas kept the peace between the two groups. John Smith would have died without Pocahontas, so the settlers would not have worked and then died from the cold of winter. Those are a few effects the friendship would have had on Jamestown.
If John Smith and Pocahontas did not become friends, Jamestown would have failed. It may have failed because the Indians would have killed John Smith which means there may have been war between the colonists and the Indians. Also there would not be a no work,no eat policy which helped Jamestown survive. This is my opinion of what would have happened if John Smith and Pocahontas did not become friends.
If John Smith and Pocahontas never became friends Jamestown would have failed because Pocahontas saved John smith's life so he would be dead and nobody would lead Jamestown.
If John Smith and Pocahontas never became Friends The native Americans and the people of Jamestown would never be able to make peace. Pocahontas’s dad was the head of the Native Americans and since Pocahontas was married to the Englishman John Rolfe it helps to have them be friends with the Native Americans and I help Jamestown be successful.
John Smith and Pocahontas were friends, but if they were not a lot of bad things would have happened. One of the bad things that could have happened is Jamestown might have failed because they would not have a leader, and the last time Jamestown did not have a leader they did not achieve anything and slacked off. Another example is that their helped keep the peace between Jamestown and the Powhatan tribe. Those are the main things that could have happened if John Smith and Pocahontas were not friends.
If John Smith, and Pocahontas had never become friends many things could have happened. One example is war. Another example is John smith would have died right there and then. There would not be trading witch would affect Jamestown hugely. last it would me smoking was never a thing in Europe and, Jamestown would fail. In conclusion Jamestown would have defiantly failed if Pocahontas , and John Smith were never friends.
If John Smith and Pocahontas weren't friends then the Indians would've killed John Smith during the ambush and it would've started a war in Jamestown. A war between the Indians and Colonists could have prevented Jamestown from growing and succeeding in tobacco.
If John Smith and Pocahontas had never become friends, the success of Jamestown would have been very different. Pocahontas saved John Smith from being killed by her tribe, and they were able to live in peace with each other. If she didn’t save John Smith they would have been at war with each other and Jamestown probably would have failed. If Pocahontas had not saved John Smith Jamestown would not have been as successful as it was.
If John Smith and Pocahontas never became friends Jamestown would probably of failed. They would of failed because they would've gotten into war. I think the English would of won but they would of lost tons of people. That is what i believe would happen if they did not become friends.
Some people think if John Smith and Pocahontas never became friends, one thing would happen. Other people think another thing would happen. This is what I think would happen.
If Pocahontas and John Smith never became friends, John Smith would have died because Pocahontas would never have convinced his father to kill him. This would have affected Jamestown a lot because if John Smith died, no one would have survived because John was a very great, strong leader. Also, most of the people who were working were businessmen and John´s slogan ¨No work, no eat!¨ made everyone work and if John didn't say that, nothing would be done. The last reason is that Pocahontas taught the people a lot about them.
That is what I think would happen if Pocahontas and John Smith never became friends.
If Pocahontas and John Smith never became friends then there would have been war in between the Powhatan and the colonist because there were more natives than colonist so the natives would have won. John Smith would’ve died because everyone lined up to kill him and if Pocahontas and John Smith weren’t friends than Pocahontas would not have saved him. The fort would not have been built so no one would be safe from the natives.
If John Smith and Pocahontas had never become friends, Jamestown would be affected. First, there would be war because they wouldn't have Pocahontas' help to keep peace. Second, John Smith may have died and Jamestown would not have a leader. Third, Jamestown may not have succeeded without Pocahontas' husband, John Rolfe, showing the people of Jamestown how to grow tobacco. Those are some reasons that if John Smith and Pocahontas weren't friends, Jamestown would be affected.
I think that if Pocahontas and John Smith were NOT friends then John Smith would’ve been killed and Jamestown Colony would’ve not been successful. Lastly all the English and Natives would be at war and if the English got killed, the Natives would have no one to get the rare tobacco from, and if the Natives were killed, then the English would have no one to steal food and crops from.
If Pocohantas and John Smith we’re not friends Jamestown would of probably failed because they would of gotten into a war and Jamestown would of lost a lot of people.Jamestown would also not have a leader and with out a leader Jamestown would of probably be doomed and also John Smith would of died. These are some reasons that if Pocohantas and John Smith would’nt be friends would happen.
Jamestown, Virginia was the first English settlement in North America. It was the home of Pocahontas and the Powhatan tribe. Pocahontas snuck food to the English settlers and saved the life of John Smith. This led to better relations between the Indians and the English settlers and success of Jamestown. If Pocahontas and John Smith have never met, there would be more war and maybe Jamestown would never have become a settlement. This would have changed English colonization in the New World.
There are many things that could have happened if John Smith and Pocahontas never became friends and here are some. John Smith probably would have been killed by the Powhatan chief. Jamestown and the Powhatan tribe would have had war and tons of people would have been killed. Finally, if John Smith was killed smoking in Europe probably wouldn’t be a thing because a lot of people would die and not work at all! Those are just a few things that would have happened if John Smith and Pocahontas never became friends.
If John Smith and Pocahontas had never bean together there would not be peace between the two tribes here are some other reasons. and then one of the tribes could of left on there sail boat and got caught in bad weather and died and then our history we are learning would not be the same. those were some reasons way if John Smith and Pocahontas had never bean together what could of happened.
What if John Smith and Pocahontas never become friends? One reason is that Jamestown would probably not survived. Next is that they would not have a peace between the indians and the settler. Lastly the indians would never had taught the settler were the good hunting is. Now that is three reason that Jamestown needed to survive.
Many things could have happened if Pocahontas and John Smith never became friends.
First John Smith could have died right out of the start and Jamestown would have failed. Second they might have gone to war. Also Pocahontas gave them food and if they weren't friends she might not have given them food. Those are just a few things that could have happened if they never became friends.
If Pocahontas and John Smith had never become friends, these are a few examples of what could of happened to Jamestown colony. First, Jamestown probably would not have survived. Second, The Powhatan would of killed John Smith and all the other Jamestown settlers. Finally, the settlers would not have known how to hunt, plant, and raise food. If Pocahontas and John Smith had never become friends, those were some things that could of happened to Jamestown.
