European exploration had a big affect on the Native Americans. One of these Native American tribes was the Aztecs. The Europeans spread diseases, such as a disease called Smallpox, which killed most of their tribe! Lastly, the population began to lower, due to disease and murder, which made their tribe weak. Why did Europeans explore the world? This is a good question, and there are many different answers to it. Riches and power are two big reasons for exploration. Riches such as gold, silver, and silk drove lots of people. Spices are another big one, and not only were they used for seasoning food, but spices were also used for medicine. When Europeans explore, they will most likely claim land for their country. Claimed land must have people there to protect it, or else some other country will come and take it. This is another reason for settlement. Explorers came to the New World to spread their religion too, and when they do this, many of them decide to stay. These are some of the many reasons for settlement in the Americas.
These are some reasons why Europen explorations had effects on native americans. One reason is that the native americans had gold and the europeans wanted that gold. Another reason is that countries such as France and Spain, wanted to become the most powerful in Europe, so they decided to conquer land in the west. The last reason is that so they could get rich by finding spices and other riches in the west. These are some reasons why European explorations had effects on native americans.
European exploration did affect Native Americans for many years. One reason was that Europeans brought Native Americans back as slaves or even killed their whole population. Cortes, also a Spanish explorer, killed every single Aztec, the strongest tribe of the Americas, and took their land. Lastly, Europeans brought diseases. When they came, they touched the Native Americans which brought them diseases like small pox. The Native Americans immune system could not fight off the strong disease which led to death for tens of thousands Native Americans. European exploration did lead to big changes for the Native Americans.

Well one effect they had the the Native Americans was for example, diseases Europeans had diseases that the Native Americans had never been introduced to before and that led to the downfall of many great Native American tribes, however the Native Americans also had diseases that the Europeans had never been introduced to and because of this usually only have of the explorers made it back from the Americas! The European Explorers had many effects on the Native Americans. Like, they fought the ones that opposed them. They also enslaved them and forced them to work in mines, and farms. The European's enslaved the Native Americans and worked them to death. They also took the slaves back to Europe to show off as prizes. Many of them did not return or every see their families again.
European's also negatively effected Native Americans by exposing them to Diseases. An Example of this is Small Pox.

European exploration did have some effects on Native Americans. The first effect I would say made a large impact on Native American tribes is the population lose. Which was especially the Aztec( A native group that was one of the most powerful groups) natives because Cortes conquered their chief and their capital. Another effect was that some of the natives surviving sources was used to feed these European explorers, and they didn’t even stay friendly to them. They just got greedy and wanted to be rich. Two examples of tribes that got affected by this exploration is the Aztecs as I said and another one that I did not mention was the Taino tribe. Who lived in the now day Cuba area, and they were they when Columbus stepped foot on the new world which he thought were they Indies. So they were there for a chunk of time. These are some ways that European exploration had an effect on Native Americans.

The effect European exploration had on the Native Americans were the European’s viruses and diseases that the Natives were not immune to, use to, or ready to experience. A Spanish conqueror, Hernan Cortes was thirsty for gold and land, (for Spain) so he went to what is now Mexico. The Indians there were called Aztecs, who gave Cortes many gifts because the Aztecs thought he was a god from heaven. After a while, Cortes just wanted to take over where the Aztecs were, so he kidnapped the Aztecs chief, Montezuma. The Aztecs found out and that caused a fight, so Cortes’s crew left quickly, leaving smallpox and other diseases that killed millions of Aztecs. Cortes returned and found that the Aztecs were very weak and sick, so he made them slaves or killed them and made the land Spain’s. Another example of the Natives being infected is, Christopher Columbus, who sailed for Spain and wanted to get to “The Indies”. He set sail and landed to what is now the Bahamas. Like Cortes, Columbus found there were Natives, named Tainos, so he collected as much gold as possible, claimed the land for Spain, and left diseases that infected and killed the Tainos. The effect the European exploration had on the Natives was how the Native Americans were not ready to fight the diseases that the Europeans carried.

The effect that European exploration had on Native Americans was very big! One example of this effect is when a Spanish explorer named Hernan Cortez sailed to Mexico to find a rich Mexican Empire ruled by Aztecs, a very powerful American Indian group. Hernan Cortez called an attack on the Aztecs, and the group was defeated, and turned into slaves and servants for the Spanish. Another effect on Native Americans is disease brought from Europeans and then passed on to Native Americans. For example, before Hernan Cortez and his crew attacked the Aztecs, many Aztecs were either weakened or killed by smallpox. Smallpox is a European disease. When Europeans started coming to the New World, the effect on Native Americans was often not good.

There was a great deal of fighting and aggression, because of the European exploration. The effects of European exploration were life altering to the Native Americans.
European exploration affected Native Americans in many negative ways. Native Americans started getting new infectious diseases from the European explorers when they started to discover new lands. Native Americans did not have immunities to many of these diseases, so thousands of them died. Guns started to get introduced to Native Americans because of this many Native Americans and colonists died. One example is King Phillip's War and how many people have been killed during that time. King Phillip's War lasted from 1675 to 1678, and there has been an estimate of 3, 000 casualties.
