The Europeans explored the world for many reasons. The Europeans wanted to find a faster route to Asia, the water route was faster and less dangerous then the walking route, but it still took a long time to get around the tip of Africa. They also wanted to trade for spices and silk to make their country rich. Finally, when Christopher Columbus sailed out in 1492 he found North America and gold, this is the last reason the explorers wanted to find gold. These reasons why they wanted to sail, they wanted to find a faster route to Asia, spices and silk, and gold.

Many Europeans explored the world around 15th-17th centuries. Some explorers traveled to claim land, but many went for riches. One of the riches were gold. When they claimed land, the country would settle in that land to make their country bigger. But some just went for adventure. The Europeans explored for those reasons.

There are many different reasons Europeans explored. Explorers wanted to claim land and retrieve riches such as silk, gold, paper money, and spices. They also wanted to find fast ways to Asia where you could retrieve these riches. Many explorers did not find faster ways to Asia then the the one that had already been found. This is why Europeans explored the world.

The Europeans were great explorers. They sailed for many different reasons, to find gold, colonize, and eventually to find the Northwest passage. There were many people who sailed these seas. Some were Christopher Cololumbus who found the Bahamas but he thought that he had found the Indies, DeGama who was the first person to make it all the way around Africa and to India. Also, Hernan Cortes who found Mexico and conquered the Aztecs and came back to Spain with tons of gold. They were all big accomplishers. My favorite was Cortes who was yours?

The reason the Europeans Explored in the 15th- and 17th centuries is because. For example, DA Gama wanted to find a faster route on sea. Another example is Christopher Columbus tried to sail west to India. My last example is when Hernan Cortes went west to colonize and ended up bringing back boat loads of gold and silver.I think all of the Explorers have had difficult missions but one crazy thing I realized that none of them completed their original missions.

The Europeans explored the world in the 15th - 17th centuries for many reasons. One reason they explored was to find a sea route to Asia for spices since there were none in Europe. Another reason was for gold and silver because they wanted to treat their king and queen and have more wealth for themselves. The Europeans wanted to claim land for themselves so they could have more power over the world. In conclusion, the Europeans were curious, brave and even a bit greedy.
